More about Violin D

For this seven-eighth-size violin (No.27) I began with my tried-and-tested Nicolas Lupot model and modified various dimensions to optimise the sound production capabilies - in other words, 7/8 size doesn't entail a straightforward scaling-down.

It is the second of my 'lost boys'. No.21, Pollocino' was made for family use and provided a valuable incentive to two pre-teens as they transitioned to full size,

My depiction of Peter Pan is of a rather defiant, untidy character - hence the cobwebs detailed in ebony paste on the four corners of the back. Look out for Tinkerbell too.
