ON MY BENCH is a new viola, a smaller model (15,1/4") copied from an attractive, good-sounding viola which came in recently for a new set-up. I'm working on the double purfling before moving on to the fine arching, thicknessing and tuning of the top and back plates (where the magic happens).

I don't know about you, but I am beginning to feel excited about the lifting of lockdown and a return to some semblance of normality!
